Sales at two new residential blocks in Brixton will open in November, according to housing developer Muse.
Ivor House (above) and Brook (formerly Hambrook) House are being redeveloped from existing tower blocks, as part of the Your New Town Hall Project.
James Stockdale, senior development manager at Muse, said: "Construction of the next phase of the Your New Town Hall project is progressing well and we're excited to be able to provide 120 new homes, of which 40% will be affordable, alongside new restaurant and retail units in the heart of Brixton.
"This will transform the area around the town hall into a vibrant community with new places to live, work and visit."
Locally listed Ivor House is undergoing extensive restoration to provide 26 private apartments alongside 1,059sq m of ground floor and basement restaurant and retail space on Acre Lane.
Hambrook House was demolished to make way for the new Brook House, which will comprise 48 affordable and 46 private apartments, as well as 167sq m in retail or cafe space on Brixton Hill, adjacent to the entrance to the new civic centre.
Notting Hill Housing will own and manage the affordable housing units, comprising 34 social rent and 14 shared ownership tenures.
