Lambeth Council's housing company will start work on four new schemes this year to create affordable homes for the borough.
Homes for Lambeth (HfL), set up in 2017, aims to build hundreds of properties with a significant number available at council-level rent.
The council’s business plan for the next financial year includes four estate rebuilding projects including in Clapham, which will offer 46 new council-level rent homes on the Fenwick Estate and 64 homes on the Westbury Estate.
Work is also under way at Hillside Gardens in Streatham, where four homes will be built.
At Knight's Walk, in Kennington, 16 new homes at council-level rent will be built in phase one, and phase two will add another 68 new homes.
At the South Lambeth Estate, 30 new council-level rent homes are to be built, and planning applications will be submitted for a further 150 homes in the borough over the coming year.
New shared ownership apartments are available at a development in the heart of Brixton, offering special benefits to potential home-owners.
